New features and enhancements – step up to v2!
We are pleased to announce the release of SolidSteel parametric v2.0.0 for Autodesk Inventor, marking the end of our beta period. We would like to thank all of our beta users for their invaluable feedback, which has been instrumental in refining and enhancing the software.
Version 2.0.0 introduces several powerful new features designed to enhance your workflow and improve your steel design experience.
Here's an overview of the key updates:
Flexible naming schemes:
Every design office or design department works differently. This is normal.
The same applies to the naming of parts and assemblies. Often there are internal rules about how parts should be named, and sometimes the customer provides clear specifications.
With the new version 2.0.0 of SolidSteel parametric for Autodesk Inventor, you can specify how parts, connections, etc. are named in the software's system settings. You can conveniently drag and drop specific properties to create a naming scheme.
When a new part is created, it is immediately named according to your specifications.
Folder structure organization:
One of the most important aspects in the development of SolidSteel parametric for Autodesk Inventor was to create the greatest possible flexibility for all users and user groups.
With the new option to sort the documents created, a wide variety of storage routines can be used. Whether you want to save all part documents in one folder, or whether you want to save them sorted by part groups such as profiles, sheets, etc.
You decide, the software supports.
As described above, naming parts and assemblies is very important for working and especially for working in a structured way.
But what happens when a change request suddenly comes in or, for example, an order number has changed?
With the new version of SolidSteel parametric for Autodesk Inventor, this is no longer a problem. With just a few clicks, you can automatically rename any component, such as profiles, connections, or even entire structures. Of course, with the same convenient drag and drop functionality you know from the system settings.
You can decide whether the entire design, individual components, individual assemblies etc. should be renamed by the system.
Stay up to date with your licenses. The reminder ensures that you don't forget licenses that are about to expire and takes you to the Klietsch Licensing Center with a click, where you can easily manage and renew your licenses.
Did you know that the premium version of SolidSteel parametric for Autodesk Inventor is only €490 per year?
