Extended functional scope of our apps for Creo Elements/Direct Modelling.
For version 9.0.3, the individual programs have been revised to support Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.8.x.
In addition to revising the individual apps, an external, multilingual material database with material groups has been integrated as an alternative to the previous material management for all add-ins (except Solid Weld).
Furthermore, it is now possible to set the host name for “schrbdlg.exe” (parallel process/auxiliary service) yourself via an environment variable (KL_SCR_SERVER_HOST), thereby resolving issues with internal company rules and firewall settings.
Upgrading from version 9.0.x to 9.0.3 does not require new passwords.
In addition to stability and general improvements, you can expect the following new features:
With the latest update, SolidSteel for Creo Elements/Direct has been expanded with numerous functions and improved in many details:
A new drill depth check now prevents holes from being accidentally drilled through opposite flanges.
Imported files can now be conveniently saved as individual STEP files in a directory. In addition, performance during CAD import has been significantly improved, especially when selecting all parts.
Optimized data transfer also saves a noticeable amount of time during NC import.
Additional settings are now available for outputting NC files:
Comments can be hidden completely if required, the format of the line ends can now be configured, and you can choose between Unicode, ANSI, and Roman8 encoding options. In addition, errors in NC data from T-profiles with machining holes have been corrected, and slotted holes are now executed correctly.
The profile database has been expanded and now also includes Chinese and Indian profiles (I, U, and L profiles). In addition, there is a new option that allows you to retain the original part names when changing profiles.
Better control for bore holes
A new bore depth check prevents bore holes from being accidentally drilled through opposing flanges – for error-free designs and less manual reworking.
Faster workflows
Whether CAD or NC import: selection and data transfer are now noticeably faster.
In addition, all parts of an assembly can be conveniently stored as individual STEP files in a directory—clear and time-saving.
Optimized NC data
More control over the output: comments can be hidden completely if desired, the line end format can be set, and the encoding can be selected between Unicode, ANSI, and Roman8. The generation of NC data for T-profiles with slotted holes has also been corrected.
Expanded profile databases
In addition to European and American standards, Chinese and Indian profiles (I, U, and L profiles) are now also available, offering even greater flexibility for international projects.
New options for design
When modifying profiles, the original part names can now be retained optionally to ensure consistent structures in your projects.

The latest update to DSTV Assistant for Creo Elements/Direct has expanded and optimized the software in key areas. This makes daily work with NC data even more reliable and efficient.
The DSTV Assistant also features a new bore depth check to ensure that there is no penetration through opposite flanges. In addition, opened files can now be conveniently exported as individual STEP files in a directory.
Performance has also been improved: both the selection of all parts during CAD import and the transfer during NC import are now significantly faster. In addition, new options are available for the output files. Comments can now be completely suppressed, the line end format is adjustable, and you can choose between Unicode, ANSI, and Roman8 encoding.
The update is rounded off by a correction in the creation of NC data for T-profiles with slotted holes.
Intelligent drilling depth control
Automatically prevents unwanted drilling through opposite flanges.
Flexible output options
Hide comments, customize end-of-line format, and freely select file encoding.
Convenient export
Conveniently save imported files as individual STEP files.
Greater precision in NC data
Improved creation for T-profiles with machining holes/slot holes.

The new version of SolidWeld for Creo Elements/Direct features significantly improved handling of Excel weld lists. Formatting can now be flexibly configured via an integrated web interface.
Users can individually specify the number, order, and width of columns, thereby optimizing the output to suit their own requirements or internal company standards.
This enhancement makes the documentation of weld seams clearer, more consistent, and easier to integrate into existing workflows.
In the current version of PipeBending Assistant for Creo Elements/Direct, stability and flexibility have been further improved. A bug that caused a dialog crash when selecting incorrect objects has been fixed.
In addition, there is now a new option to individually control the overwriting of part names via the settings. This allows the handling of components to be better adapted to your own requirements.
The new version of PART Assistant for Creo Elements/Direct brings a significant improvement in the creation of holes. From now on, the bore depth is automatically checked, reliably preventing accidental drilling through opposite flanges. This makes handling easier and eliminates typical sources of error in everyday use.
