Updates for SolidSteel parametric, DSTV Assistant, LOGIKAL Interface and AluFrame Assistant

With the new versions 8.1.0 of SolidSteel parametric, 2.1.0 of LOGIKAL Interface, and 6.1.0 of DSTV Assistant and AluFrame Assistant, our SOLIDWORKS apps have been enhanced with new functions and targeted improvements to existing features.

Hotfix x.1.1: Shortly after the release of versions 8.1.0 / 6.1.0 / 2.1.0, a small hotfix was published. An error in the version number check prevented the installed version from being detected. As a result, an available update was always incorrectly displayed. This has been resolved in versions x.1.1.

Naming scheme: Filter for invalid characters added
IFC export: Export for unknown profile series improved
IFC export: Configuration options added to SSp settings
Fasteners: Size table for through holes added
Position numbers: Task pane view settings are saved
Position numbers: Added the ability to assign custom properties to position numbers
Naming: UID replaced by index

Bug Fixes

Fasteners: Error when canceling fasteners assembly has been resolved
Rib: Placement error in stairs fixed
Position numbers: Errors occurred if parts were deleted after part numbers were assigned and the view was subsequently changed
Railings: Suppressed parts remain suppressed even after inserting another railing
Contour cut: Fixed an error with double-sided cuts

The default type of circular cuts could not be changed in the drop-down menu of the export window
Machining operations located on rotated window elements were not recognized correctly during export
The import process did not start and got stuck during block template creation
