SolidSteel parametric v4.1 and DSTV Assistant v2.1 for SOLIDWORKS Release
After the public beta versions, the main versions are now available for you.

At the beginning of October, the beta versions were already made available and extensively tested by users and, of course, also internally at our company.
Thereby some bugs were found and fixed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our users for their feedback!

What has changed since the beta versions, you can read in the following changelogs:

  • Splice Joint

    • Error with hole pattern fixed (holes in bar are intercepted)

    • Problems with individual splice joints fixed

  • Clip Angle connections

    • Error when changing fixed

    • Error when updating assemblies with stairs fixed

    • Error at "Remove" instead of "Add all" fixed

    • Error when deleting from subassemblies fixed

  • Bearing Gusset Plate

    • Placement of plates on wrong side fixed

    • Hole sketch for plates without boreholes is hidden

  • Curved profiles

    • An error was fixed where cuts between two curved profiles could not be executed depending on their positioning

    • Unification of designations corrected
